I seem to recall saying that when I started on Blood+ and Code Geass too. I wonder why.
But this seems pretty boring. Anyone got a good action/mecha anime to recommend? I have watched quite the lot (Claymore Shining Tears X Wind etc etc), but nothing seems good this season.

are u serious? i find Heroic age to be very interesting and fun to watch. probably my favourite anime of this year.

Gurren Lagann is pretty damn good. Too bad no good groups are subbing it anymore!

a good action/mecha anime is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann....... its kinda weird... but i think its the best mecha series out these days
Kiss Dum: Engage Planet, Kotetsushin Jeeg, Souten no Ken and SRW OG Divine War (the last 8 episodes) could all use some swift subbing.
this show is the greatest anime iove seen in years its amazingly interesting just like soul link and code geass
I guess the best series out is heroic age. Not cuz it is a very good anime, but among them, the best. Others are shit, imo...
How about Kaze no Stigma? I haven't seen any groups take up that one yet and it seems to have a neat story.
I have checked all that has bee said, all are all kind "meh" material, when you compare it to the likes of Utawarerumono, Soukou No Strain and Code Geass.
I'm looking more of a hidden egg. Utawarerumono was Spring 2006's pick without a question (for me), and Soukou No Strain easily picks the Autumn 2006 award. But like abra said, nothing really exceptional thus far. In fact, the best action show I've seen this season is Murder Princess, and that's an OVA which comes out once every month.
Heroic Age itself seems interesting, but episode 2 is a huge let-down. I can almost see it spiral downwards already. The lack of good VA cast makes it really boring to work on at times too.
out of all the mech ones ive watched so far Gigantic formula.. is prob going to be pretty good.. tho it seems to have g-gundam aspecs.. its a lot better!!!!!!!
