I don't know if that can help or anything but I think that anies should be spelled Agnès (as a lot of names used in Zero no Tsukaima are french related). The name Agnès might be a reference to Agnès Sorel who was king Charles VII's favorite.

question: why do i not see the subs for SetonoHayaname? it used to work. . . i dl the xvid one and watch it on vlc. cuz there are no more .avi ones. . .

Get rid of that crap and use http://www.cccp-project.net/

You need to play it using MPClassic, and not VLC. You should be able to find MPClassic in your CCCP folder.
