The whole thing is sad though. The reason I quit editing was for shit like this. I couldn't have any fun whatsoever. I would just end up with my IRC PM/Email/Forum PM's flooded with various messages telling me "You forgot 1 comma at 09:28, and it ruins it... this is not professional work, asshole!". The worst of which being one time I made a comment at the top which said "Editor's Note: This is quite possibly the STUPIDEST line I have ever seen in a series." (If anyone remembers what series that was in, please tell me since I have forgotten myself). The PM's came in like a waterfall of tears upon a little otaku's face when seeing something not taken extremely professional.
Damn fucking right it isn't professional work. Its free work. Free work people like us do for fun in our free time... and most of all, not for a god damn dime.
After 3 years of taking the bullshit, it took its toll and I said "Go fuck yourself" to everyone and just left the fansubbing scene. Maybe one day people will realize its free work and that we want to have fun while doing it to.
A side note: If a lot of people saw what is commonly in the comments of a subtitle file, they'd shit, cry, and then probably kill themselves.
This has probably been asked before, but...what is the name of the song on your blog? I like it.

I was in the same position so many times in so many teams, it becomes extremely frustrating. Which is why when I led this team, I always made it a point to have FUN.
But it's unfortunate that there are quite a few teams out there who thinks they sell Fansubs or something.
We need more of people like you around :D
hey buddy good job on the subs for heroic age. as like a few others out there, i dont mind the *pew pew* and LOOK INTO MY EYES thingy. all i wanted is to understand the story :P. anyways any leads on the Heroic Age #9?. i know u r busy but hehehe could u please sub heroic age in a constant date or time?. i dont mind waiting 3 to 4 days after it was air, just hopping getting an exact date on its subbed and released. thanks, keep on the good work.
p/s: u guys should not be bitching about the pew pew thingy, since he said it before "i do this for fun", plus he is not ur slave, so. we're lucky enough, he's here to get us our fav anime subbed. so dont make him stop doing his work.
